mb_ltrim — Strip whitespace (or other characters) from the beginning of a string

mb_ltrim(string $string, string $characters = null, string $encoding = null): string

Performs a multi-byte safe ltrim() operation. Strip whitespace (or other characters) from the beginning of a string.

Without the second parameter, mb_ltrim() will strip these characters:

" " (ASCII 32 (0x20)), un espace ordinaire.
"\t" (ASCII 9 (0x09)), une tabulation.
"\n" (ASCII 10 (0x0A)), un saut de ligne.
"\r" (ASCII 13 (0x0D)), un retour chariot.
"\0" (ASCII 0 (0x00)), le caractère NUL.
"\v" (ASCII 11 (0x0B)), une tabulation verticale.

string: The input string.
characters: Facultativement, les caractères à supprimer peuvent également être spécifiés en utilisant le paramètre characters. Il suffit de lister tous les caractères qui doivent être supprimés. Avec .., il est possible de spécifier une plage croissante de caractères.
encoding: The string encoding.

This function returns a string with whitespace stripped from the beginning of string.

mb_rtrim() - Strip whitespace (or other characters) from the end of a string
ltrim() - Supprime les espaces (ou d'autres caractères) de début de chaîne
